1. Who the data controller is

The controller of the personal data collected through this website is AGASTA LOGISTICS Ltd, based in 15 Odrin St., fl. 9, 8000 Burgas, Bulgaria, UIC 208945486, registered in the Bulgarian commercial register under VAT number BG208945486 (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”, “we”).

2. What data we collect

We collect only the data necessary to respond to your requests and to perform transport contracts:

• Identification and contact data — first and last name, company name, e-mail address, telephone number.
• Shipment data — the loading and unloading place, the nature and weight of the cargo, the transport documents required.
• Technical data on website use — IP address, browser type, pages visited, collected through the server logs.
• Shipment numbers queried — if you use the tracking page, we retain the number searched in the technical logs, for the security of the service. The shipment number does not contain personal data beyond what is already necessary for transport.

We do not collect sensitive data (for example, data concerning health) and we do not request personal data that is not necessary for the provision of the service.

3. Why we use the data and on what legal basis

• To respond to your quote requests — legitimate interest and, subsequently, performance of the contract. Without this data we cannot prepare a price or a transport document.
• To perform transport contracts — performance of the contract, including the legal obligations relating to transport and accounting documents.
• For legal obligations — invoicing, archiving, customs and tax regulations.
• For commercial communications — only if you have given your express consent, for example by ticking the newsletter box in the form. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
• For website security — legitimate interest in preventing abuse and cyber attacks.

4. How long we keep the data

• Requests that do not become a contract — a maximum of 12 months from the last interaction.
• Data relating to transport contracts — for the duration of the contract and 5 years after its end, in line with the legal accounting and tax archiving periods.
• Billing data — in line with the periods laid down by the applicable tax legislation.
• Technical server logs — a maximum of 12 months.

5. Who we disclose the data to

We do not sell or rent your data. We may pass it on, strictly for the purposes above, to:

• carriers and freight agents involved in performing the transport;
• customs, tax or other competent authorities, on lawful request;
• IT, accounting or insurance service providers, under a processing contract and only to the extent necessary;
• legal advisers, in the event of resolving a dispute.

Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we ensure that the transfer takes place with appropriate safeguards (for example, standard contractual clauses).

6. Cookies

This website uses cookies strictly necessary for its operation (for example, remembering the language preference). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If analytics or marketing tools are added in the future, this policy will be updated, and consent will be requested in advance through a banner.

7. Your rights

• The right of access to the data we hold about you.
• The right to rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
• The right to erasure of data (“the right to be forgotten”), within the limits of legal obligations.
• The right to restrict processing.
• The right to object to processing, including to marketing communications.
• The right to data portability.
• The right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out previously.
• The right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (in Bulgaria, КЗЛД (Commission for Personal Data Protection) — cpdp.bg).

To exercise these rights, send us a written request to the e-mail or postal address indicated in point 1. We reply within 30 days.

8. Data security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data: restricted access on a role basis, encrypted connections, backups and staff training. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure; we encourage you not to send us sensitive documents by unencrypted e-mail.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect legislative or operational changes. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the date of the last update indicated above.
